The challenge: a work from home desk in a small Manhattan studio.

The solution: a solid wood cutting board as a table top (31" wide), bolted to the wall for stability, leveled out using a single steel pipe as a leg. I used a floating monitor holder and only keep a keyboard and trackpad to reduce clutter. Instead of an LED ring light, I installed a Nanoleaf wall canvas that looks great against the brick and has endless color and brightness combinations to fulfill any lighting needs.

I love the earthy combination of wood, brick, steel, and tech, which overshadow the fact that this workspace feels roomy within 10sq/ft.

The couch table: used from leftover steel pipes from the bookshelf, this mini table knows its place. It's easily moveable and can fold into any of the three corners of the couch.

The bookshelf: my favorite quarantine project, this 9' shelf was designed for the space it occupies. Steel pipes are the backbone of the entire shelf. and it's mounted to the wall via hidden L brackets.
